Please do not enter personal data into the free lookup. Product descriptions should describe goods, not people.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we set is the strictly necessary c2c_session cookie for signed-in customers. The public pages load no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Railway hosts the application and its database, in the United States.
- Cloudflare provides our domain name service, network security and content delivery.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that classifies product descriptions. Descriptions entered into the lookup are sent to Anthropic for this purpose.
If you use the contact form, we may also pass your enquiry to the customer relationship tools we use to manage sales conversations. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or transfer it to you or another organisation. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
We will update this notice when our use of personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
